Role Overview

We are seeking an action-oriented Inside Sales & Operations Representative to serve as the engine behind our Relationship Sales Managers<sup></sup>. This is a hands-on, high-touch operational role responsible for driving daily sales workflows—from vendor price negotiations and quote creation to customer scheduling and order tracking<sup></sup>. You will play a central role in keeping deals moving smoothly through the pipeline<sup></sup>.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution & Quoting: Partner directly with Relationship Sales Managers to research hardware/software offerings, build customer proposals, generate SOWs, and prepare quotes<sup></sup>.

  • Vendor & Customer Coordination: Act as the main operational liaison between sales teams, corporate staff, and major technology vendors (e.g., Cisco, NVIDIA, Dell, HPE, etc)<sup></sup>. Coordinate meetings, vendor requests, and technical demonstrations<sup></sup>.

  • Pipeline & Order Logistics: Manage order tracking, ensure prompt client communication, and keep CRM deal stages updated in real time<sup></sup>.

  • Solutions Learning: Develop a practical understanding of our tech stack—including storage, networking, AI, and life sciences infrastructure—to help recommend products and identify upsell opportunities<sup></sup>.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, STEM or related fields preferred)<sup></sup>.

  • Strong interest in working within the IT ecosystem and enterprise technology<sup></sup>.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable reaching out to vendors and clients directly<sup></sup>.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment<sup></sup>.

  • Practical proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for managing quotes and tracking logs<sup></sup>.

  • Hybrid availability (Waltham office / remote)<sup></sup>.
